Oneman Business (“we”, “our” or “us”) operates the website onemanbusiness.in and provides software for running webinars, following up with the people who attend them, and sending WhatsApp messages through the official WhatsApp Business Platform. Our software is called Webinar System, and our Meta app is called Oneman Business Messaging.

We are committed to respecting and protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

By using our website or software you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

A. Information you give us

When you register, subscribe, purchase, attend a webinar or interact with our services, we may collect:

• Full name
• Email address
• Phone number, including your WhatsApp number
• Company or business details
• Billing and payment information, handled by secure third-party payment processors
• GST number, if applicable

B. Information from webinars

When you attend one of our webinars we receive from the webinar platform (for example Zoom) your registration details, whether you attended, and how long you stayed. We use this to understand who is interested and to follow up.

C. Information from WhatsApp and Meta

When you connect a WhatsApp Business Account to our software, or when you message one of our customers on WhatsApp, we receive through Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform:

• The WhatsApp Business Account ID, phone number ID, display name and quality rating of the connected number
• An access token that lets our software send messages on behalf of that account. Access tokens are encrypted before they are stored and are never shown in a browser.
• Message templates and their approval status
• Delivery reports for messages we send: sent, delivered, read, or failed
• Messages that people send in reply, including their WhatsApp number and profile name

We use this information only to provide the messaging service. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it.

D. Usage data

When you use our website or software we may collect your browser type, IP address, device type, the pages you visit, and how you interact with them.

E. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the software is used. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

2. How we use your information

• To provide and maintain our software and services
• To send messages you have asked us, or one of our customers, to send you
• To send transactional and service-related communications
• To follow up after a webinar, by phone or WhatsApp
• To improve performance and user experience
• To respond to support queries and technical issues
• To send marketing and promotional messages, always with an opt-out
• To comply with legal and regulatory requirements

3. WhatsApp messages and your consent

Marketing messages on WhatsApp are only sent from templates that Meta has reviewed and approved, and only to people who have given a business their number. Businesses using our software are responsible for obtaining that consent and for following the WhatsApp Business Policy.

Our software checks the do-not-message list twice: when a message list is prepared, and again at the moment each message is sent.

4. Sharing of information

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share your information with:

• Meta Platforms, Inc. — to send and receive WhatsApp messages through the WhatsApp Business Platform. Meta’s handling of that data is governed by Meta’s terms.
• Service providers — hosting (Vercel), database (Supabase), email delivery, payment gateways and analytics tools, each bound to use your data only to provide their service to us
• Webinar platforms — such as Zoom, when you register for a session
• Legal authorities — when required by law, court order or government request
• Affiliated partners — only with your consent, for a specific programme or integration

5. Data security

• All data travels over encrypted connections (TLS)
• WhatsApp access tokens are encrypted at rest with a key held only on our server
• Passwords are stored only as salted hashes; we never see them
• Role-based access: team members see only what their role needs
• Incoming data from Meta is accepted only when it carries a valid signature
• Regular backups, held for a limited period

No system is completely secure. We take every reasonable precaution but cannot guarantee protection against every possible breach.

6. Data retention

We keep your data as long as your account is active, or as long as needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. WhatsApp replies and delivery reports are kept so that you can see the history of a conversation. You may ask us to delete your data at any time; see our Data Deletion page.

7. Your rights

Under Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, you may:

• Ask what data we hold about you
• Ask us to correct data that is wrong or out of date
• Withdraw consent for marketing communications
• Ask us to delete your account and data

To exercise these rights, email amit@onemanbusiness.in from your registered address. We answer within 7 working days.

8. Third-party services

Our software connects to third-party tools, including the WhatsApp Business Platform, Zoom, payment gateways and email providers. Each has its own privacy policy and we are not responsible for their practices.

9. Children’s privacy

Our services are not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised policy.
